The Housing Working Group has continued to work closely with the Greater Boston Tenants Union to help build tenant power across the Boston area. The WG is planning on revamping our Tenant Organizer Trainings and offering at least one to a GBTU-affiliated building union and one training to DSA by the end of the year.
Want to help build our organizing efforts? The Organizing Committee’s (OC) term will end in October, and applications will open soon for the 6 roles: Co-chair (2), Internal organizing chair, External organizing chair, Communications chair, and Canvass chair. We encourage you to apply, even if you’re a newer organizer—the OC will help mentor and train you if you’re interested!
