We need your help with:
GOTV Canvassing: On GOTV weekend, instead of contacting just any potential supporters, our campaigns will be targeting the supporters they've already identified and the most supportive undecided voters, making sure they have a plan for how they will be getting to the polls. On GOTV weekend, every supporter you talk to is not just a potential vote; they're also a potential DSA member.
GOTV Phone Banking: Similar to door knocking, we’re trying to reach our most likely voters and urging them to make a plan to vote. With phone banking, we’re reaching our supporters whose doors we are least able or least likely to knock on.
Lit Dropping: Got some free time on the evening before election day? Many of our campaigns will be going throughout their cities hanging special literature from peoples’ doorknobs to remind them to vote when they open their door on Tuesday morning. It’s much like canvassing without looking to have any of the typical conversations.
Poll Standing: A lot of the time, voters are still making up their minds even as they're walking to the polls. With that in mind, many campaigns will be standing outside polling places (at a respectable distance, as the law requires) with signs and a whole lot of energy to remind folks of who we are and what we’re fighting for right before they cast their ballot! Poll standing is a great way to talk to voters on election day for as much time as you have, whether it’s in the early morning as polls open, afternoon as people get home from work, or evening as the last few folks get their ballots in.

November 16, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Margaret Jewett Hall, First Church Cambridge, 11 Garden Street, Cambridge MA, 02138
The Boston chapter of Democratic Socialists of America typically holds its General Meetings and General Organizing Meetings for all members each month on a weekend afternoon. Interested in DSA but haven't signed up yet? Joins us! Members of the public are welcome too.
From NY to MA, it's our time to win.
DSA’s Zohran Mamdani was just elected mayor of NYC—the biggest socialist electoral victory in a century. Despite the millions spent to stop us, working people chose the democratic socialist movement to bring down the cost of living, expand public services, and hold war criminals to account.
That same movement is growing throughout Greater Boston. Over the last few months, Boston DSA knocked 95K+ doors to put Ayah Al-Zubi & Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler onCambridge City Council and get Somerville’s Willie Burnley Jr. and Lowell’s Marcos Candido within inches of defeating wealthy establishment opponents.
While election season may be over, we still have a world to win.
There’s no better time to join your Boston DSA comrades in fighting for affordable housing, sustaining one of the century’s biggest union struggles, reversing mass incarceration, protecting immigrant neighbors from ICE abduction, and more.
Find your place in the movement.
Whether you're not yet in DSA or have been around for years, we want to celebrate this moment in history with you. Please join us at our chapterwide General Meeting on Sunday, November 16th from 4 to 7 PM at First Church in Cambridge to learn about what DSA is winning in eastern Mass – and how you can help.
We’ll hear from:
🎊BDSA electeds & endorsed candidates on what’s next for socialists in office in MA
☕ Starbucks Workers United on how you can support their historic nationwide strike(and we’ll vote on the Labor Working Group’s plan to do exactly that!)
🍕🍕 To celebrate Ayah, Jivan, Willie, Marcos, and Zohran, we’ll finish up with a pay-what-you-can pizza party – New York style, of course. All $$$ raised will go towards the SBWU Strike Fund. 🍕🍕
Finally, please bring non-perishable food donations for striking Starbucks workers. Your support will sustain workers who are giving up their paychecks to stay on the picket line!
🖥️ Joining on Zoom: Our general meetings are hybrid with in-person & remote options -- and yes, you can still vote if you attend online! To get the Zoom link sent to you, please RSVP.
