This is the third Membership Committee meeting of the 2026-2027 term. This will be a working meeting focused on using Evan’s campaign as material for list work with lapsed members. Those who need training will learn how to pull lists and send targeted emails; those who already have those skills can get right to making calls!

Join City Councilors Mejia, Culpepper, and Santana for a community cleanup and help keep our neighborhoods clean while connecting with their offices. This is a great opportunity to meet local organizers and electeds, share your concerns, ideas, and community needs, and have meaningful conversations about the issues that matter most to you.After, we'll make our way as a group to the Evan for Cambridge door knocking day of action in Harvard Square!What is provided: All necessary tools, including gloves, pickers, bags, and safety instructions.What to bring: Make sure you wear work clothes and close-toed shoes (that you don't mind getting wet or dirty). Depending on the weather, you may want to bring a hat, sunscreen, raincoat, or jacket. Help elect a democratic socialist to the Massachusetts State House!While this race is not in Boston, electing a champion for working people who will take on corporations and the political establishment will have an impact across the entire Commonwealth. This is gonna be Evan's biggest canvass yet. With under 15 days left to reach voters and the political establishment going all-out to stop us, we need all hands on deck. That includes Cambridge City Councilor and all-around extremely cool guy Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler. It also includes you. 🫵 Bring sunscreen. Bring a charged phone. Bring enthusiasm. Join us for tabling and canvassing at the Quincy August Moon Festival! This is great chance to a talk to our neighbors about what DSA is all about, and what we're doing in the Boston area, and South Shore. We will have a tent, table, a couple of chair, flyers (and snacks for volunteers!) The actual event runs from 11:00am to 3:00pm, but we will need to set up before and tear down after. No one needs to commit to the entire event, if they don't want to. We hope to have enough volunteers to rotate out who is actually at the table every hour to so.
