Evan MacKay is a union leader, pro-democracy organizer, and a Harvard teaching fellow. As a Cambridge LGBTQ+ Commissioner and the former president of the Harvard Graduate Students’ Union, they’ve been organizing in Cambridge around issues of social, racial, environmental, and economic justice for over a decade.

Evan is running for state representative in the 25th Middlesex District to fight for a transparent, accountable government that works for the many, not the few. This campaign isn't about one person. It's about a movement for a better world against a corrupt, self-dealing status quo of Democratic state house leadership.

Join us for our July quarterly Boston Proper Branch Meeting, a chance to link up with comrades from Neighborhood Groups across the the City of Boston (Dorchester/Roxbury, JP/West Roxbury/Roslindale, Allston/Brighton, and beyond), compare notes on what's moving in your corner of the city, and turn our separate neighborhood fights into one citywide movement with real power behind it. Whether you've organized with us for years or this is your first DSA meeting ever, you'll leave knowing how to plug in.
