Ecosocial - Give Public Comment for the Boston City Budget
March 10, 2026 @ 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm
Government Center Plaza, 3 Center Plz, Boston MA, 02108Boston is having a public meeting at 6pm on 3/10 to allow for public comment on the city's budget. We're meeting outside of Boston City Hall in the Government Center Plaza at 5:45pm. Residents of Boston are particularly encouraged to come give public comment but all are welcome to join and provide support! We'll congregate afterwards for food and drink. We're asking all commenters to ask that the budget address the two issues below (but feel free to make it your own and speak to your own experiences!):
-
Open new public restrooms in high-traffic areas, particularly near T stations, to ensure as many Boston residents and visitors as possible have access to this critical public infrastructure.
-
Improve the experience of using existing public restrooms by extending hours, increasing maintenance frequency, implementing accessibility upgrades, and updating public-facing information to bring us as close as possible to free, 24/7, clean, universally accessible public restrooms.
