Welcome to the first of four Town Halls dedicated to 2028 and all it has to offer—a presidential election, general strike, statewide and local elections and ballot measures. Our first Town Hall sets the context for these discussions. What is executive power, in a local and international context? Why should or shouldn’t we contend for this power? What does it take to get it? Join your comrades for a short presentation, gallery walk of ideas, and breakout group discussion!

This Town Hall is intended to contain both introductory and advanced elements to engage with members across the spectrum of involvement—if you just moved here this year for school from another country, or if you've lived here and been politically active your entire life, we have something for everyone. (Then join the group for a social after the Town Hall at Glitch Gallery in Charlestown!)

This meeting will be in-person only, but the recording will be made available to chapter members. Food will be provided. Childcare can be made available by request.
