Join Boston DSA's Housing Working Group for our April meeting.

We will be meeting at Presentation School Foundation in Brighton and on Zoom this month.

This is a very exciting meeting because, not only do we have a ton of great campaigns to share updates on, but we are also going to be talking about the upcoming elections for HWG's Co-Chairs and OC!

It's time for Crafting Club!

Join us to make zines! And crochet some granny squares.

This is a casual event, drop in when you
can! Get to know your neighbors, and make some cool stuff together.
And yes... there will be PIZZA.

This month, we will be teaching two different crafts:

• ⁠Zine-making!
• Crocheting Granny Squares.

Zines are DIY mini newspapers/magazines, used to tell unique stories, show art, and educate your community!

And Granny Squares are crocheted squares, made in a all kinds of patterns and colors. They are very beginner friendly, and are used as the building blocks for quilts, sweaters, and more!

No prior experience necessary! You can also bring your own craft you'd like to work on, if that suits you!

just come schmooze and have some pizza. We will be getting
together again at Proof Pizzeria (we love them!) off of the Griggs St. B-line train.

BRING YOUR KIDS! We have CHILD CARE!

Crafting Club is part of an ongoing campaign called #KnowYourNeighbor. We create fun, free spaces for Allston/Brighton. Think of monthly clubs (right now we have a crafting and gaming club!). We also give tips/tricks for getting to know the people in your building, and soon will start neighborhood tours!
