Who We Are
Boston DSA is the Eastern MA chapter of Democratic Socialists of America.
We are working against the oppressive capitalist system in its many forms. We see these oppressions — economic inequality, patriarchy, white supremacy, to name a few — as interlinked, intersecting, and inseparable.
Join us in building mass movements for the world we deserve and growing an openly socialist presence in communities and politics in the Greater Boston Area.

Join a Boston DSA Working Group
Boston DSA’s working groups carry out the external political work of the chapter. Working groups are centered strategies such as labor organizing (supporting striking workers and educators) or socialist electoral politics (challenging the legislative system). Learn about the working groups and find your organizing home within the chapter.

Working Group Spotlight: Palestine
Join the Palestine Working Group! We’re fighting Warren and Markey by building a mass base around three critical issues – a permanent ceasefire, ending weapons shipments to Israel, and delivering immediate relief for Gaza. For the first time in history, the American people are on the side of Palestine – help us organize them!

REI Boycott Flyering 5/17
May 17, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
REI Fenway, 401 Park Dr Ste 103, Boston MA, 02215The REI Union has been organizing stores since 2022. For
four years, REI has refused to reach a first contract with workers,
union busted, and slashed benefits. Now, REI Union workers have voted to
authorize a boycott of this year's "Anniversary Sale" from May 15th to 25th.We need your help to make this boycott hit hard. Join workers, union staffers, and community members leafleting in from of stores during the sale to turn away customers and support the union.
Flyering will happen throughout the sale, but we are particularly focused on the weekend days as traffic is heaviest then. The boycott applies to all the stores and so there will be leafleting at the Boston, Framingham, and Reading locations, but the most support will be in Boston at the union Fenway location. Flyers will be provided and training is available if you want it.
Join us on Sunday May 17th at REI Fenway to put some solidarity in action!
